2021 Hotel linen and detergent supply standards
Hotel linen belongs to hotel terms. It refers to almost everything related to "cloth" in modern hotels, including hotel room bedding: such as sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases, pillow cores, quilts, decorative fabrics, etc.; hotel bathroom products: such as square towels, face towels, bath towels, Bathrobes, etc.; textiles used in hotels and restaurants: such as tablecloths, mouth cloths, chair covers, etc.
The common raw material for linen washing is washing powder. Of course, it is better to use laundry detergent, which has no residue and prolongs the life of the linen. The linen is not easy to turn gray and yellow. Now many people have simplified the washing process, using laundry detergent, bleach, and towels with a little softener.
(1) Woven fabric: a fabric formed by interweaving yarns in a horizontal and vertical system arranged perpendicular to each other on a loom according to a certain rule. (The quilt covers, bed sheets and tablecloths in the hotel linen are mostly woven fabrics);
(2) Knitted fabric: a fabric formed by knitting yarns into loops, divided into weft knitting and warp knitting. (For example, our common undershirt is knitted fabric, which is rarely used in hotel linen, and a few outer curtain fabrics are knitted);
(3) Non-woven fabric: made by bonding or stitching loose fibers. At present, two methods of bonding and puncture are mainly used. (Such as some laundry bags in hotel linen, disposable slippers are all non-woven fabrics).
In the past, most hotels and restaurants washed linen by themselves. Now with the rapid increase in the number of hotels and environmental protection requirements, linen washing is gradually becoming socialized and centralized. Therefore, in order to maintain a continuous, healthy and orderly development of linen washing services, in addition to having internal and external environmental conditions, there should be a set of standard service processes, work procedures, and operating standards. Square towels, face towels, bath towels, bathrobes must be washed separately from floor towels, bedding and other textiles.
