Methods to test if a towel is 100% cotton

- Burn test: Burn a single fiber; pure cotton fibers burn rapidly, turning into ash similar to paper, without any pungent odor.
2. Understand the thickness of the towel (GSM)
GSM (grams per square meter) refers to the weight in grams per square meter and is the most direct indicator of a towel's density and quality.
How to Calculate Towel GSM?
You can use a digital scale to weigh a single towel and then calculate the GSM using the formula:
GSM = Weight (g) / [Length (m) x Width (m)].

7. Color Fastness Testing
